Hi everyone. I got my new puppy Fiona on Saturday. I have her in a ex pen during the day, have been putting her in a crate at night, which has been working pretty well. She weighs 3.2 lbs.

I have been using purina second nature litter in a box and she is using it great for pooping--seems to prefer it. I have a pee pad folded in the box as well and she pees in that (most of the time...) She does drag the pee pad around, which is a pain. I was thinking of getting a pee pad holder and putting it next to the box-- if she uses one for poop, the other for pee, I am ok with that.

The problem though--she also picks up pieces of the litter and chews on it. I am concerned that if she eats this stuff (or too much of it) she will get sick or it will hurt her digestion. Any suggestions?
