well most likely she is young and having a 1st child you can be overprotective! i carried and slept with my girl until about a yr 1/2 old but not washing bottles that's gross & lazy ! i'm sure she will change alot because having a baby will do that too you and make you grow up fast as it's not about you anymore it's all about the baby! maybe while they asre tiny they can use a bassinet but i would be scared the baby would roll out of it as opposed to a crib with higher sides. she may have just freaked out and thought maddie would scratch her of jump on her get excited who knows what other people think?! well anyways you can't tell anyone anything even if you are right they always want to learn the hard way just be there for them if things go wrong!
