Millie has been trained to be on car rides since the day we got her at 12 wks. She would get car sick and she did shake like a leaf alot of the times. We have always had a car seat and it never seemed to make a difference. (She does perfer to be in my lap, but I don't always let her get her way). She never does enjoy going on car rides. It took her almost up to a year old before she would be "ok" in the car. Because I really insisted that we get thru this hump, because I wanted to take her every where with me and I never gave in or up. So she will tolerate the rides now, because she gets to be with us all day and she gets to go to fun places.
She eventually stopped the shaking and stopped throwing up, but it took forever for her to be fine in the car. |
