Maddie does it too. I too her to the vet thinking her anal gland needed cleaning and it hardley had anything in it. With the weather changing Doc said with all the pollan in the air that it gets into there system and if they have any allergies it can cause them to scoot on ther butts just because they itch. Maddie was also bitting on her feet. She got , I call it a itch shot. This is the first time she has had to get it, but she has stopped scratching and scooting. At first I thought she might have got a flea on her, but I bath her every week and I never see any. The week I took her for the shot I bathed here tow times that week. Maybe ask your vet if allergies could cause it.........Cindy |
