We are planning on remodeling our bedroom after the holidays. I have been considering hardwood flooring instead of carpet. Now I am starting to become a bit worried with having the furbabies in the bedroom. They sleep with us, and Shelby will occasionally jump off the bed if we don't get to her quick enough. (Seymour will wait for us to lift him and set him down) I know that landing on a hard surface could be horrific...... and Shelbs won't use doggie steps
I have allergies and the wood floor would be much better for me healthwise....... So what so ya think Yorkie talkers? Would an area rug over the hardwood flooring be soft enough? I am starting to think that with this doubt, maybe I should just stick with carpet and deal with the allergies...... Does anyone have hardwood floors? How do your Yorkies handle it?
