tdavis,
I would definitely take him to the vet to get a bile acid test. Your story sounds very similar to what happened to my yorkie when he was a puppy, he had a few hypoglycemic attacks when he was about 13-15 weeks old...He would never eat either. On a couple of occassions, he would fall over. Anyway, we took him to the emergency vet because we were so scared. We asked if they could check for liver shunt, and obviously they didn't have experience with yorkies because they said "No, he's too young, there's no need to check for that." They said that he wouldn't make it through the night.
My husband and I decided that we were not going to let anything happen to him. So we took him home and we boiled some chicken, and gave it to him and plain white rice. He ate a little of that and he started to look better. On days that he wouldn't eat (almost everyday) we had to force feed him soft food with a syringe. So we started feeding him baby food because he would not eat dog food. This food seemed to open up his appetite. After a couple of months he seemed to have recovered quite a bit.
To make a much longer story short, we found out that he had a liver shunt later on, and that's why he had all those problems as a pup. Had the vet checked for it when we asked we would have known much sooner, but the vet made us feel stupid for even thinking a puppy that young could have a liver shunt.
I was not satisfied so my husband and I decided to take him to another vet to get him bile acid tested, and the Sunday before his appt. he had a seizure and was convulsing pretty badly. We rushed him to the new vet and they tested him for several things and decided it was probably a liver shunt.
If you have any questions, just pm me and I'll go into more detail.
P.S. Many people think that the only indication of a seizure is convulsions, but actually if you notice your dog staring into space, falling over, walking sideways, those are signs that he's having a seizure.
