Default Hypoglycemia in tiny 18 week old pup

Bobo had what I think was a hypoglycemic attack today (this about the 3rd one he has had). I noticed he did not eat well yesterday at each meal, he also had a grooming appt yesterday. He was playful and did fine all day, this morning he ate a little at 3:00 a.m. then around 7 am he did not eat much. I had to leave home at 10:45, I put out more food ( Wellness puppy canned food) I got home about 4 1/2 hours later, he stood up in his playpen I picked him up took him out to potty and he fell over was very shaky, I immediately took him and finger fed him, he did seem very hungry and ate prob about 2 tsp of canned food and I also gave him a little karo syrup. He perked up a few minutes later and urinated also He is doing well now. He has never had a good appetite. Most dogs love to eat, not Bobo. He does seem to like this food but just doesnt eat very much. I also leave out Artemis dry puppy food all the time for him. He is now 18 weeks old and weighed 2lbs at the vets about 2 weeks ago at 16 weeks of age. I am going out of town Christmas day for 7 days, my brother is staying here to dog sit, I am afraid he may not be as attentive as I am even though I will leave very specific instructions, Should I have nutrical on hand for him to give at a certain time of day and does this really help their appetites, if so should I start him on this or is he to old for this. Thanks for all of your advice.
