well i think if you are going to training classes is for the issue you have, if he didnt whine why would u take him, u get me, if he acts that way in class then your trainer will see what he has to deal with so i believe its best for him to act that way in class until u train him, because like u say u are scared of him whining, then what would be the point of taking him if he doesnt?
but i do hope training helps him out a little, sometimes dogs need a little guidance (spell check)
