Jalapeno Poppers. YUM! Beware though, that there's no way of telling how hot the peppers will be until you eat them

We make these every few months, and the peppers have ranged from bland to OMG
You just wash and cut the peppers (12) lengthwise. Set them on paper towels upside down to dry. Take 8 oz cream cheese, softened, and add a 1/2 tsp. of garlic powder and some salt and pepper to taste. Fill the peppers with the cream cheese. Take a lb of bacon and cut in half. Wrap each pepper half with the bacon, so that the ends are underneath. I bake them at 350 for about 45 minutes, on a rack in a pan. You can adjust the time/temperature to suit whatever else you're cooking and if you go nuts and make too many, they freeze beautifully
