How exciting for the two of you. Hearing you babies heartbeat for the first time is very emotional. It is very nice of you to share you feelings and experiences. Don't be concerned about losing a few pounds at first. My daughter lost 22lbs due to hyper imesis(throwing up round the clock) for four months. Isabella was born on 10/13 weighing in at 8lbs 2oz. Just eat good food and take care of yourself.
