Ohhh, I totally feel for you right now! We just went through the EXACT same thing! They kept her overnight and she couldnt keep food down, they thought it was an obstruction and they did exploratory surgery. She didn't have anything inside her, she just had a parasite. They sent her home with different meds and she got better right away. I was a mess tho when they said they had to do surgery. They took x-rays and she was full of gas and they assumed there was something stuck in there, they said it would be better to open her up and make sure because we could lose her. I need her just as much as she needs me right now, and I was a wreck. Have you been taking her outside and meeting other dogs? Thats what I did, and thats how she caught the parasite, it could definitly be that. Its good shes at the vet, make sure they do an ultrasound to see if there is a blockage. I wish you the best.
