Whatever floats your boats, I suppose.
People…ALL people, including myself...are going to make excuses and find loopholes and argue to enable them to do what they want with LOTS of situations…taking dogs places where they are not allowed is no different. I suppose it’s just because I don’t personally get it because 1) I’m sure any of our dogs would be happier snoozing on my bed than stuffed and confined to a purse while I shop and made to be quiet and 2) I don’t get the arrogance of thinking that one is above the rules and therefore entitled to do whatever they want at the expense of others. I just can’t quite grasp that concept, course, I make excuses for driving over the speed limit, but I’m not going to blame the cop and complain about getting a ticket either.
