I would definitely get her spayed if you don't plan on breeding her. Spaying reduces the risk of mammary cancer if done before the first heat. You probably don't want to have to deal with issues surrounding heat either! My Gracie gets spayed next week, along with micro chipping. She will be 6 1/2 months old.
