My little Gabby did the same thing last year. She attempted to jump and tore her cruciate in both knees (on two separate occasions...one knee one day and the other a month later). She recovered very well. Surgery was easy....make sure they provide you with plenty of pain meds...She was very sore after coming home. Also as an FYI at night so she didn't go roaming I put her in a newborn nightgown and it kept her from walking around when I was sleeping after she started feeling like herself.
