Well they will just tell you no food or water the night before. Make sure you ask for pain meds for your baby as they are optional and sometimes they don't give them. Neutering I think is less painful than spaying on the females as the incision is tiny compared to the one made for spaying females. Anyhow your boy will be fine and best wishes.
