Even though I have introduced the training pads to her she tries to make it there but seem to fall 1 to 2 inches away each time ....And as far as the "crate thing" goes, I don't have one for her, even though I've purchased this really expensive but comfortable bed for her she loves to sleep with me & my hubby. Now we are young (21 & 23) so she is actually our little babygirl so I don't want to make her sleep in her bed if she doesn't want to???? Am I confused or is this ok??? |
I was totally like you when I first got Coco. I was letting do anything she wanted because she was so cute, but I think it's a mistake. I learned by the next 2-3 after I got her that I was the boss, and she wasn't. She already had me wrapped around her little paw. She wasn't listening or responding to NO! or anything. So I put her on a strict learning schedule and now she is even more cute. She listens to me (99% of the time) and we have fun together without anyone being frustrated or tired. Their life is just happier when they have structure and discipline. You'll be happier in the future with your baby. I am also young (24, is that still considered young?) so I know how it is to want to let them be themselves, but if you don't start now, that little cutie will not be easy to turn around later. We think they're young at 12 or 14 weeks but they understand more than we think.
