I am so proud of myself! Snoodles is terrible in the car, whining and jumping all over the place. Was afraid she would cause a wreck. Car seats are very expensive so, I went to K-Mart and bought a plastic step stool, the sides are open, but have a band around the bottom of the legs. Then I bought a plastic stack bin (front side is open) I came home and drilled 4 holes through them (stacked the bin on top of the stool so she would be high enough to see out)bolted it together, added a nice new soft pillow, and tied a leash to it so I could attaach it to her halter and :viola! I have a great car seat. I can connect the car seat belt to the bottom stool, or the bin has slats on it and can connect it through there. I'll have to see which works better next time I take her. It cost me $22. including the $10. pillow!
