just a word of caution, and yours may go down the stairs just fine... but, my duke goes up his stairs to the bed just fine, but he will not go down them. i made a landing pad of three stacked floor pillows and he uses that. it's a maze for me to get into bed, but hopefully it's a little easier on him.
