Don't feel bad though - the same exact thing happened to me the one (and only) time I took Stedman to be groomed. He didn't have any mats (maybe a tiny one or two, nothing major) however the groomer just DIDN'T know what she was doing, obviously. She told me herself (AFTERWORDS!!!) that she was new I guess she did the best she could - but he was SUPER short, shaved down...and looked like a Schnauzer!! I was SUPER unhappy - but it DID grow back...and it grew back fast! His hair grows quick though - thank goodness!
I'm sure little Howie still looks PRECIOUS!!! Get him some cute little sweaters if he doesn't have them already - that will hide the haircut and keep him warm at the same time BIG hugs to you Howie boy!! I'm so sorry to hear that you had a bad time at the groomers |
What happend to Wookie's hair? I haven't had a chance to go through all of the post yet. But, I know it wasn't her fault. A few of the groomers came out to look at him and they showed me, and I do agree he was matted pretty bad (because I didn't brush him from the beginning). So, I guess it was the best option. But, I totally feel for those who do not even expect to see their babies this way, and coming back to pick them up. OMG, I would be furious.

But, like everyone says. It will grow out. And, my boyfriend offered to groom Howie the next time. He's good with clippers and trimming...he does his own hair! ahhaha.

So, we'll see.
