I took Bailey into a new groomers in June and they shaved her down to the skin; I was horrified. They said she had a matt under her front leg they couldn't get out and so they shaved her WHOLE body. I didn't pick her up from the groomers my son did, but he did call to tell I wasn't going to be very happy
Bailey didn't have a matt, I am very good about brushing her out, I always do before I take her to the groomers. She just went in to get her ears and privates cleaned up.
Anyway her hair is growing back out, it does take a couple of months. At this time of the year just invest in a sweater.
The good news is Bailey really liked her haircut and not wearing bows in her hair

It will grow back in time,
