 Surpise rebuttle to insults
Our male, Casanova, is a little guy..4.0 lbs on a good day and cute as a bug but he is soo smart....he knows when someone doesnt like him, he gives them THE LOOK and if they have a rude comment my daughter says in a really low voice (too low for the enemy to hear), "watch him"! With that little command our Casanove pulls his lips back and takes on guard dog stance...they dont have much else to say!
I have to admit that 95% of the comments, I have heard, have been positive and like someone else mentioned...folks usually are just curious and want to start up a converstaion so they can get closer to our little guys.
The one inquiry I did get that I doubt anyone else ever heard was quite funny;
While in the mall with our Casanova (probably 8 mo old and weighing 2.0 lbs)
a group of women from India came up to us and asked (seriously), "Is that a guide dog??? Can you see a yorkie leading one thru traffic, or crowds?!?! I thought it was pretty sweet...maybe they too just couldnt think of anything else to say to get closer but they seemed very sincere. LOL |
