Chewy was just spayed on dec 1st. Her vet used gas instead of injection...he explained that it will wake her up faster. I dont know much about it though.
I have another thread on here about how her behavior changed after we came home but people are saying its temporary. I think it may just have been traumatic for her because shes been through a lot since i got her.
You just really have to watch her the first night you bring her home, not let her jump and make sure she gets water!!!!! Mine wouldnt touch water so i have to give it to her through a syringe. But the next morning she woke up sooo hungry that she gobbled down all her breakfast and drank half her water dish. I would say just keep an eye on her maybe get it done on a day when you could stay with her the next day and watch for any irregularities such as bleeding or pussing on the stiches.
Im sure shell be fine as everyone on here says they bounce back really quickly and are back to playing before you know it.
Good luck
