My sister's Yorkie jumped off the bed last night and yelped as she landed, then could not use her rear legs. She's been x-rayed and they haven't found any breaks -- but she's still not using her legs. She does have feeling in the legs, and she isn't crying. The docs are medicating her and saying to keep her very quiet, and hopefully she'll start to feel more sure on her feet and will try using her rear legs again. If not, they'll do an MRI tomorrow.

I'm writing to ask if anyone has had this type of experience before? Gingi is nine years old and has been in good health -- was running all around yesterday before her jump from the bed.
