My little sister kept calling Rocky a little rat when I first got him. I would just ignore her, but it did bother me. Finally I said "You know what, that's rude and I don't like you calling him that" and she apologized, and I haven't heard her say anything since. I think it all is in HOW people are saying things vs. what they are saying. If someone is just joking and being funny, but means no harm I probably wouldn't snap, but if they were being rude just to make themselves feel good, I would definitly put them in there place. I guess I'm more stubborn like that. For those of you, like SnowWa, I think it's awesome and really respect how you handle these rude people. Me on the other hand though, I have a mouth and I don't take crap from anyone. Especially if someone I love is insulted, I just can't walk away and be the bigger person.
