I decided against the radioactive type test because I would have had to take her to a university animal hospital hours away and she would have to stay a couple of days and since she needed to be spayed soon I decided on the liver biopsy during her spay. That's what showed her having MVD or internal liver shunt. I feed her baked chicken that is thin sliced and has 17% protein and Cesars canned as shw won't eat anything else and the canned has 8% protein. The only treats she gets are all low protein, usually 2% protein. A lot of the dog treats are very high in protein so watch those. I had the Bile Acid test rerun a week later because the vet said many things can throw them off and they were lower. Maybe you can just wait a month and have the Bile Acid test rerun and then take it form their. I will keep her in my prayers.
