Cali had highe enzymes but not real high i think 0 -15 is normal and her 2 test were 97 and 35 but she had had some hypoglycemia episodes and throwing up so they did the ultrasound which did not show a liver shunt externally but the surgeon said that usually with high enzymes but not real high under 100 she said can indicate internal liver shunt that is only diagnoses by a biopsy. So I had the biopsy done and she did have a mild internal shunt but the surgeon said it was so mild that she didn't think it caused her symptoms and needed no treatment except I try an keep her on a lower protein diet. She grew out of all of her health issues and weighs 5 lbs now. I know it can be so upsetting. Good luck!
