Good luck with your baby, he is adorable!
I can't help with the weight or feeding issues because my Yorkie is a teapot. She is 5 months and 5 pounds and eats like a champ and always has. She will eat her food, Jazzy's food and the cats' food, if you don't watch her. She gets moist food once a day and kibble is always available.
I can help with the sleeping question. Mickey (my 5 month old Yorkie) sleeps a great deal during the day. She has her very active play times but also takes naps throughout the day. She always has a super active period right after dinner, then pretty much settles down and sleeps through the night.
