Hello and welcome! My JoJo urinates frequently and also drinks a lot of water, like 16 ounces a day! I was pretty concerned as this is 3 to 4 times the requirements for his weight. He is now 5 months old but he has always gone a lot ( I have had him since he was 13 weeks old). My first call was to the breeder and she suggested bringing a urine sample to the vet to check for a urinary tract infection (this was very difficult for me to do, my sample was contimated as it is very hard to get a clean sample and they had to use a catheter at the vet). He did not have an infection and there were not any crytals in his urine. They waited a few weeks and he was still urinating frequently and drinking a lot of water so they checked his blood to see if he kidneys were OK (this was done as part of the pre-op testing for neutering). They were fine and he is not diabetic. So it is normal for him (they didn't really suspect anything major since he has a lot of energy and is eating well) but you should get your puppy checked to rule out all of the above.

Good luck!
