Do you leave them outside? Just wondering because you said the water turned to ice.

That was shortly after I bought it. The last time was last week and they only messed on the pee pads and maybe a little in the litter box. Today it's been extremely cold and windy so they have spent some time in it and did both business in the litter box. I put their food and water in there and they ate it all up this aft. (Water was turning to ice!) The last week has been the best so far. I was beginning to give up hope till this week. They are 5months and 4 and 1/2 months old. The younger is very small- was 2.2 lbs about 2 or 3 weeks ago and I'm surprised he's doing so well. Eventually I plan to let them have the whole room to themselves with several litter boxes, their crates, the xpen, toys, and some cushions. However, that will be awhile. I'm waiting till I can trust them not to chew everything in sight. So, things may not start out well with the xpen but give it time. It will work.
