Ok, I think I figured a big part of it out. He will only eat hard food. I told my husband when he got home that he wouldn't eat or drink, and he had the genius idea to break some of Bruiser's food. (he's my boxer) He put it on a plate and he chewed 3 handfuls. Drank 2 little bowls of water.: You can see a change in the expression on his face. He almost looks relieved. He was probably starving. That's why he was staring at me! They told me when I got him to make sure to give him soft food because of his teeth. I wonder if he was eating soft for them. I know I can't give him that food for good, but I figure it's okay until the vet tells me what he needs.
