with my camera . . . the shutter speed is way tooo slow and I cannot get great macro shots . . . so, I finally decided it is time to get something that will do the job so I can take better pictures of my furbabies and of small objects like my clamp style clips.

I had been envious of my Sister's Cannon SLR rebel when she came to visit over the summer. I got tickled when she had pondered the idea of selling it to me so she can get the latest and greatest . . .well, I waited, and waited and waited. She finally decided she did not really need an upgrade at this time so, what the heck, I ended up just getting myself one over the weekend

I am very excited to try it out . . hopefully this weekend . . . but boy, soooo much to read. Anyone has the same camera and willing to share some tips . Maybe this way I can get away with NOT reading the manual.
