I was going to try and not respond to this but I thought I would just so some of you can see my side and I do understand that many of you wont and that is your right and it is okay with me.

I have several of my dogs de- barked , I do not think I am lazy by any means but I do have some yappy kids. And yes I believe I can train them if I wanted to but I like it when they bark their little heads off. But I am a responsible breeder and a very good neighbor. I de-bark so my kids can go out side if they want during the day or night and I am sure they will not bother anyone. I do not want to ever worry about my dogs getting poisoned or worse because the neighbors have had enough. My dogs still make enough noise to alert me of problems or pain and they still bark like crazy and I never have to yell at them or worry about them.

The operation is simple and they come home that very afternoon. They can eat right away so I do not believe they are in much if any pain. I have been a breeder for some 30 years and in these years I have had several dogs debarked and have loved the results of every one.

I do not have my Standard Poodle de- barked as he is the protector of the little ones while they are outside, he does not bark at leaves or cats or just to hear himself bark as some of the little dogs do.

Now a yorkie that is a pet or maybe even two get everything they want they have no need to bark , but if you are a breeder of say five or more, they can get to barking up a storm and then feed off of each other. This is not something I care to listen to and if I had a neighbor with barking dogs I would not at all like to live this way.
We pay a lot of money for our homes, life should be good, I just make sure that my neighbors are never bothered by my dogs. They have told me many times how much they appreciate how I take care of my dogs. We do have some very noisy dogs in our neighborhood, but they are not mine.

De-barking is not for every dog or for every one, there is always two sides to everything.
Before any of you go there if it were my child I would hold them when they cried and I would listen when they talked and every one of you that know me knows that is true, but when my group of kids go outside they are out there to bark and play and have fun, no one has told them they are de-barked , don't let the word out.

Thats it , please don't be to hard on me.....
