Anyway, back to the subject at hand. Darla is only 3 months, but I took her in for her first bath (at the groomer! she has been bathed!!!). I wanted her to get used to the experience before someone starts at her with a pair of shears or scissors. She wasn't too happy about the blow dryer. I was, however, glad to see the groomer didn't put her in a crate with one of those blowing machines. She actually used a hand-held hose dryer. I stayed at the groomer's the entire time, not because I didn't trust her, just to chat and make sure Darla knew I was still there. I plan to take her a couple of times a month just to get her comfortable. Not sure how long it will be before she needs her first "trim."
