Debarking raises a lot of controversy...But, on the other hand, why are little puppies suffering docking their tails, or ears in some breeds. They say it doesn't hurt when they're days old but who knows for sure??? Debarking IS like declawing a cat, docking tails e.g. I would like to say I'd never have my dog debarked but I'm lucky and he's not a barker. But if he was and neighbors would complain, I'd rather debark than get rid of the dog...
