Maizee has never had a problem eating her food. She's such a little porker, but my boyfriends doberman would not eat unless he was sitting on your lap and eating out of your hand. Needless to say, this got a little old. We switched his food and now he practically bowls us over just to get to it! I don't know if this will work for you, but it's worth a try. Or, like it was mentioned before, I would put something tasty in there for him. Hopefully something works out for you
