I'm proud of you for standing up for what you know is right. You have a good heart and are obviously a mature, responsible mommy.
You are correct about the jumping. They have to learn to get down off the couch, the bed, stairs. They don't know to put their feet down to catch themselves, they have to learn it.

You are correct about the diet. Some Yorkie's have very sensitive tummy's and get upset quickly. They can also get over stressed quickly. You must have been a wreck with worry. You handled it well, sounds like they were ganging up on you. They are your family, families are supposed to support each other. If this is the first small pup in your family, maybe they all need to learn about these wonderful terrier's.
Start to look forward, and if that means you have to be firm with your family then that's what you have to do. You have taken on a giant responsibility in raising a small baby. You are doing a great job, you are one of us!!!
