 Thanks to everyone.
I want to thank everyone that has responded and sent PM's. I talked with my wife last night and she says she is just not ready for a new puppy yet. I am positive if I got her a new puppy it would help take away some of our pain but I am going to respect her wishes and wait for a little while. I was wanting to get her a puppy for Christmas but now I am thinking her birthday might be a better option (February). Can anybody out there tell me how to deal with this situation? I want to respect her wishes but I know a new puppy would help heal a broken heart.
