Plus - perhaps every little dog is entitled to have a place all his own...where he can go and get away from the world and just lay back and relax....

I remember when I brought my new little Yorkie pup home, he wouldn't let my other dog rest for a minute. He just wanted to bite and jump and chew and play constantly (expect for when he was totally passed out asleep). So - I know if I had crated him with my older dog - my older dog wouldn't have gotten a moment's peace - probably still wouldn't (and this is a year later).

AND - when I got my new little Yorkie puppy, he loved his own bed (not a crate). He was jumping in and out of his new little bed all the time and taking all his toys there, etc. I think he liked having his own place also. It only took him ten minutes to learn that that bed was his.....and only his...... and he loved it.

Good luck - Carol Jean

I agree 100Zillion %
