I think that it depends on the dog. My little Seymour is a snuggler, but Shelby likes her space and sleeps much better on her own. If they are traveling and in a crate, they are together. I don't think that I would leave them alone in it together.... just because I know Shelbs would be more comfy without her little brother lying all over her!
