I would be ashamed to take my dogs anywhere with fleas. We treat all the time (but I hate bugs in general). I just do the frontline monthly. I am sorta worried about Zoe with the babies, it is treatment time on the first - I am not planning to flea her then. Fleas are bad here (dallas), though, especially after a nice warmish winter.
But to remember dumb - I had a neighbor who went shopping with her human daughter when she had chicken pox. It got all over me. I knew another girl who's son was fighting leukemia at the time. It is not fair to expect everyone to have to suffer along with you.
Back to dogs, I like to keep two tags on the pups - rabies and name tags. It clues me in whenever they scratch to see what's up. That clinking drives me batty and forces me into action. |
