Hi Blaine. If you are not looking for a puppy, you can also check out Petfinder.com. Type in Yorkie for your search and you may find a young Yorkie under one year. I've seen a few lately that were around six months old. The good thing is they are coming from a rescue so the $$ you spend on the adoption fee (which is a lot less then buying) would go to help the other rescues. Also, another good site to check out is Puppymillrescue.com. They get a lot of puppies in, that were rescued through dog auctions (puppymill breeders). They are a really good organization. The adopt fees generally are around $400 which includes vetting, shots and spay/neuter. Just a thought. Good Luck and I hope you find the right one. I have three Yorkies rescues and one nine month old Morkie (half Yorkie and half Maltese) that I just bought by answering an ad in the classifed section of our local paper (another good place to look). A woman bought her, and decided she didn't want her and sold her much much cheaper then what she paid, plus she had just been spayed. She was eight months old when I got her. Again, best of luck. Elaine
