 I Did!
I purchased my first Yorkie off the Internet, I was a Yorkie Rookie and didn't know any better. All I know is I met my first Yorkie in person and he was so impressive that I had to have one right away. I was hooked and addicted and I had to have it one ASAP......I was in Boston at the time and they had no good Breeders there. I found a Breeder in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
She charged me an extra $250.00 to ship and that included the plastic crate/carrier and the Health Certificate. Make sure it's a Direct Flight with no Stop-Overs or Connecting Flights. Unfortunetly she flew him from Florida to Newark where he missed his connecting Flight b/c the Flight was 20 min. late
so he had to take the next Flight out, during his 4 hr. delay they never let him out to go pee or pooh. When I finally got him he was covered in it, he was so Traumatized by the ordeal that he freaks out over a plastic crate to this day, he refuses to go in one. I've had to Train him to behave, for this he gets full run of my House and can never be crated or caged. But other than that he has been everything that she said he would be if not more! I am more than Happy with him, he is my Everything! But I did learn from the experience. I purchased my 2nd one in person from a Local Breeder, in fact she lives 5 blocks away and I am still Friends with her. Good Luck |
