I have been using Frontline for 2 1/2 yrs. Buddy has never had fleas, however, I did find a tick on him last month sticking out of the top of his head!
First time ever, it wasn't even close to being dead.
For parasites I use heartworm once a month. I think I am going to switch to Revolution. I have heard it is cheaper and has heartworm in it as well.
You might check on line for both. I know Foster Smith carries both. They do have their own website. Good luck. I do no you should never give your
dog heartworm meds unless they have been tested for heartworm first.
So I would wait until he/she is tested. Carol & Buddy
