Embarassed How unfortunate!!!

If your pup really does have diagnosed hip dysplasia (via x-rays) then you may want to take a look at the elbows and knees too.
Hip dysplasia effects all breeds and while our little ones, clearly, aren't imune to it-it's not common. And when we do see it, we often see other joint issues as well.

In regards to compensation from the breeder, that would all depend on:
A: Whether or not you signed a contract binding them to a health guarantee including congenital defects up to a year or longer

B: If they have any morals within their breeding program
