Sometimes I will ask at a gas station or whatever when I go in I'll say I was gonna show you my puppy but wasnt sure you allowed pets & they say yea or nea, then I'll remember I can bring her in. Sounds like a visit to the doctor may get me a perscription & the proof would be in all the past visits I had for depression that I no longer need. Thank God for Yorkies & Beer, lol. Can I get a Amen! YOU DO NOT NEED PAPERWORK!!! Under the Americans with Disabilities Act legally all a public venue can ask you is if the animal is a service animal or not, and what they are trained to do for you. It is legitimate to say that your animal keeps you stable and oriented to public environments and that is it. They may try to kick you out but if they do they are violating the law, and most chains stores, etc know that. I do not encourage just anyone to use that, because it makes areas less accessible to even service animals when there are a lot of people lying, but truthfully that is all you have to say.
