Yes, when my Yoda was a baby, his Mom would wake up every 15 minutes to check up on him. Yoda was a deep sleeper then, lay as still as a rock, and we would have to see if his little belly moved up and down or not to see if he was breathing. Now though, he seems to be a lighter sleeper, and if his eyes are closed and we rub his stomach or bother him, he'll peep one eye open to look at us and such.
So yes, orinskye, just make sure they can still breathe if they are covered up in a blanket or anything.
