My sister in law just had a baby over the weekend and she was in ALOT of pain before she had the epidural. And then after she got it she sat up in bed and talked and joked and laughed with us for the rest of the day! Until it was time to start pushing she was not in any pain at all, and then she started to feel the pressure. There is no way in this world that I could have an all natural child birth.
I also have a friend that doesnt believe in any kind of drugs like that and she gave birth to a little boy almost a year ago. She went through the whole thing without any kind of drug. She is due to have another little boy this December ( I know shes crazy) and she plans on doing the same thing with this one. So I think that it depends on how much pain you can tolerate!
