Poor little Jaxon! Hope he is healthy & happy real soon!
The only time we have had a problem like that with Toto's ears, was caused by too much hair down in there and when she was bathed the water was retained and it caused a yeast infection. It seems the groomer was not plucking the ears but was snipping them so far down in there with scissors, it was just a matted mess!
I felt soooo rotten ... I didn't know and needless to say we never took her back to her. The ear hairs are now plucked by the vet, nails clipped by the vet, anal gland expressed by the vet and I bathe her and clip her myself!!
I also use those little foam earplugs in her ears when I bathe her just to be safe.
