We purchased Maggie a car seat at Petsmart. It fit around the head rest of the car and then the seat belt secures the main body of the car seat. It's elevated, mesh sided, safety leash clip, storage pockets. Maggie loves to go. She never misses anything out her window. When she gets tired, there is plenty of room to lay down. Best thing we have ever bought.
