Chewy was neutered on Friday. He had some back dew claws that had to be removed, he had baby teeth pulled, ear hair pulled, nails clipped and anal glands expressed. Needless to say, it was not a good day for him! He was really tired and out of it last night, but he did eat and drink. Today he is doing much better, even trying to play a little. My question is, the area where his testicles were is very red and swollen, even though the incision is up higher towards his penis. I called the vet, and the assistant said not to worry, that it is just some internal bleeding. Did anyone else experience this with their little guys? It is so red, it really looks like it hurts!
